Maxine Bauer, MD

Dr. Bauer attended medical school in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory University. There she developed an interest in public health and was active in promoting awareness about domestic violence. She completed her residency in OB/Gyn at OHSU. There she was an active researcher in the areas of dysplasia and infertility.

Dr. Bauer has special interests in the field of infertility, low risk obstetrics, abnormal uterine bleeding, incontinence and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Bauer is originally from Atlanta, GA. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their two young children, especially doing the many outdoor activities that Portland offers. She also loves travel and has worked and studied in Lima, Peru. She enjoys the personal interactions she has with her patients of all ages and backgrounds.
